Carbón - a classic Colombian Espresso that surprises. Contrary to its name, it is not extremely dark, but offers lovers of strong roasts a more pleasant alternative: much lighter than Lavazza and without bitterness.


Roast

For our darker roast variant, which we roast in 12 kg batches and apply a roasting curve of 14:30 minutes at 205 degrees Celsius, the characteristic fruitiness of washed coffee gives way to an extended caramelization time, dominated by flavors of nuts and chocolate.
