We ship our coffee three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Orders placed by 3:00 PM on the shipping day are usually shipped the same day. Orders placed between shipping days or on weekends will be processed on the next regular shipping day. The delivery time within Germany is usually 1-3 business days. We ship with DHL. The shipping cost is 6.50 euros. We offer free shipping within Germany for orders over 50 euros.

Yes, of course! You can easily pick up your order in person. Just select the shipping method "Self-Pickup" during the ordering process. Once your order is ready, we will inform you in a timely manner via email or phone so you can pick it up.

Yes, we would love that! We support the concept of unpackaged shopping and are happy when you bring your own containers. If you don't have your own containers, we also offer reusable cans and containers for purchase.

Yes, we usually have all our varieties available as loose goods. Our main varieties – Carbón, Tinto, and Dorado – are always in stock.

We offer more than just coffee. You will also find accessories for coffee preparation, fine chocolate, and occasionally Colombian specialties.

Yes, absolutely! We want you to experience the quality of our coffee for yourself. While we are not a café in the traditional sense, we have an espresso machine and a grinder, and we would be happy to prepare an espresso or cappuccino for you. We can also brew fresh filter coffee. Yes, we offer vouchers for our coffee seminars that make excellent gifts. The vouchers allow the recipient to choose the date for the seminar themselves, providing great flexibility. The redemption of the vouchers is straightforward through our website or by contacting us.


Our coffee seminar is not the same as a barista seminar. As coffee farmers, we place special emphasis on conveying to you firsthand what makes the quality of coffee from its origin. A significant part of our seminar is therefore the theoretical background.

In addition to the theory, we offer you the opportunity to learn about and try out various alternative coffee preparation methods. These include, among others, Aeropress, Chemex, French Press, and more.



Products


The varieties come from the plant species Tabi and Pink Bourbon, of which we have only a limited number on our plantation. Additionally, these plants are low-yielding, which means we cannot harvest as many coffee cherries. Therefore, we cannot offer these varieties regularly.

We roast our coffee weekly, always fresh and as needed. It is important to know that freshly roasted coffee does not immediately develop its full aroma. In the first few days, the coffee still releases CO2, and its flavor continues to develop. Therefore, it is even beneficial if shipping takes a few days. This way, you can be sure that your coffee arrives just when it has reached its optimal flavor profile. We guarantee that our coffee is never older than 4-5 weeks, so you can always enjoy a fresh and full-bodied taste experience.


For an optimal taste experience, we recommend not to store our coffee for too long despite its long shelf life, as it loses aroma through oxidation. We provide a minimum shelf life of 12 months from the date of packaging, but for full enjoyment, we recommend consuming whole beans within 6-8 weeks and ground coffee within 4 weeks. This way, you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee every day.

Yes, our medium and dark roasted coffees are very well suited for fully automatic machines.

Therefore, it is important to consume the coffee beans within about 3 months and the ground coffee within about 4 weeks. Coffee does not go bad per se, but it becomes less aromatic. Proper storage helps to preserve the flavors for as long as possible.

Coffee is hygroscopic, which means it can absorb and release foreign odors. This can especially happen in a refrigerator. You probably won't enjoy coffee that tastes like ham or cheese.

For some, the coffee ends up in a freezer. This option is particularly suitable for special coffees that you can't drink quickly and want to store for later. Freezing simply stops the aging process of the beans. However, when thawing, you need to ensure that the beans are only opened after they have completely thawed.

If you don't want to freeze the coffee but still want it to last a long time, first and foremost, buy whole coffee beans. The roast date stamped on the bag should tell you how fresh the coffee is.

It is important for storage that the coffee does not come into contact with air, moisture, heat, and light. If you don't have a suitable container with an aroma protection valve, you can also keep the coffee in our original bag, but well sealed. Of course, also keep in mind to consume the coffee as quickly as possible.

Our coffee bags, although made of paper, have a plastic layer that helps preserve the aromas. They are also equipped with an aroma valve. The coffee beans must always release the CO2 formed in the beans after the roasting process. This is achieved through the aroma valve and only in one direction from the bag to the outside.

More and more coffee enthusiasts are choosing whole coffee beans when buying coffee, and that's the right choice. This is because the flavors are preserved much longer in a whole coffee bean. When ground, the surface area of the coffee increases, and the flavors escape much faster. When exposed to oxygen, they are mostly gone within a few minutes. The coffee begins to oxidize, which has a significant impact on the taste of the beverage. Therefore, for the ultimate coffee enjoyment, regardless of the brewing method, it is always important that the coffee is freshly ground, preferably in portions, just before brewing.

Quality is another important point here. You can quickly tell by looking at the coffee beans whether they are high-quality beans. Beautiful beans without cracks and other defects are a good indication that careful work was done in the country of origin. With ground coffee, absolutely nothing can be said; everything is ground up, and it is no longer possible to determine whether the beans looked healthy.

In our outlet store, we also grind fresh coffee beans for every customer. This is because it is always packaged in whole beans to maintain freshness.

After you have chosen the right coffee beans for your taste, grinding is the next very important step. Many espresso machine owners, for example, have an additional grinder, or it is integrated into the machine, which is also the case with fully automatic machines.

You always have the advantage of choosing whole beans, and that's usually the best.

Beginners with portafilters who do not have a suitable grinder often ask us about grinding beans for the portafilter. It is quite difficult to choose the right grind size for a machine that you are not familiar with. Often, the experience of experimenting and adjusting the grinder is very beneficial for the customer themselves and is very important for the coffee drink in the end. We do it anyway, but we also explicitly point out that it may not taste optimal. Because only the respective customer knows their machine best.

For daily use, manual grinders are particularly well-suited. But only for those who want to take their time and simply crank it themselves for a few minutes. Thanks to their compact size, manual grinders are always the best choice for travelers. This way, you don't have to give up your fresh favorite drink even while traveling. Honestly, you often don't need much to quickly brew really good coffee. Nowadays, even the smallest manual grinders have the settings for the perfect grind size for the brewing method of our choice.

For those who need to be quicker in the morning (including ourselves), electric grinders are probably a better choice. In a very short time, you have the perfect coffee grounds for brewing coffee. Electric grinders also have more options for adjusting the grind levels compared to manual grinders and are more versatile. In the gastronomy sector, an electric grinder is always the first choice.

Grinding coffee beans may seem quite simple at first glance, but it is very important. If the coffee is not ground according to a specific brewing method, it may end up being too thin, watery, or completely over-extracted, and it will not develop the optimal flavor it could have, and it simply won't taste good.

Different brewing methods require different grind sizes, and it is mainly about extraction – that is, the contact time of the coffee grounds with the water.

For shorter extraction times, such as with an espresso machine, the coffee should be ground finer, while for longer extraction times – like with a French press – it should be ground coarser.
